Refund & Returns Policy

Return Conditions

We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To qualify, the item must be in its original condition—unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

Please note: Some items are excluded from our return policy.

Kukko Tools: All Kukko products are shipped directly from Germany and are final sale. Due to international logistics, we cannot accept returns on Kukko items unless the product arrives damaged or defective.

Returns Process

To initiate a return, please email us at support@homesteadingshop.com. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

If the return is due to buyer's remorse or a change of mind, you will be responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping.

Restocking Fee

A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns that are not due to damage, defect, or fulfillment error.

Return Shipping Costs

  • We cover return shipping for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

  • All other returns require the customer to pay actual return shipping costs.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to cancel the order before it ships.
Please note: All cancellations are subject to a 4.9% non-refundable processing fee, which covers payment provider fees that are not refunded to us.

If the order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled. However, you may return it under our standard return policy.

How to Return Products

All returns must be shipped by mail. We do not accept in-person returns.

Return Label

If your item is damaged or incorrect, please contact us to receive a pre-paid return label via email.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you of the refund status. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account.

  2. Contact your credit card company—it may take time to post.

  3. Contact your bank for further clarification.
    If you've done all of this and still haven’t received your refund, please email support@homesteadingshop.com.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you find an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can make it right.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us at support@homesteadingshop.com.

Changing Shipping Address

Yes, you can change your shipping address within 24 hours of placing your order. Please contact us as soon as possible to make changes.
