Product FAQs
Where is this air conditioner installed?
This unit is designed for interior installation inside an RV, typically under a bench, bed, sofa, or in a floor compartment. It draws air through a floor opening and exhausts air and condensation outside. Please ensure your RV floor can be modified before installation.
What size air ducting is required?
Use flexible HVAC ducting with an inside diameter of approximately 2.36 in (60 mm) to ensure proper airflow and secure vent connections.
Will it work with my RV’s electrical system?
Yes. The unit operates on standard 115V / 60Hz power and includes a plug-in power cord. A dedicated circuit with sufficient capacity is recommended.
Is this a ducted or ductless system?
This is a ducted air conditioning system. The included flexible ducting can be cut and routed to multiple vents, allowing airflow to be distributed to different areas of your RV.
Can I use my existing ductwork?
If your existing ducts match the 2.36 in (60 mm) diameter requirement, they can be reused without replacement.
Is installation easier than a rooftop unit?
Installation is often simpler than installing a rooftop air conditioner since no roof lifting or sealing is required. However, careful planning for space, duct routing, and floor openings is still necessary.
What types of RVs is this unit best suited for?
This under-bench design works well for RVs with limited roof space, including Class B and Class C motorhomes, camper vans, and solar-equipped RVs where rooftop space is at a premium.
How is condensation handled?
The unit features a downward-facing drain outlet that directs condensation outside the vehicle, helping prevent moisture buildup inside the RV.

Liftgate Service, Curbside Delivery & What to Expect
We understand that freight shipping can be confusing — especially if you’ve never had a large item delivered this way. This page will walk you through exactly how it works, including what a liftgate is, what “curbside delivery” really means, and what to be prepared for when your order arrives.
Why Freight Is Used
Freight shipping is required for large or heavy products — usually those over 120 lbs or oversized dimensions. Unlike standard parcel shipping (UPS/FedEx), freight is handled by a trucking company using semi-trucks.
What is Curbside Delivery?
All of our freight shipments are curbside delivery by default, which means:
- A full-size semi-truck (typically 20 to 53 feet long) will arrive at your location.
- The truck will stop at the end of your driveway or nearest accessible point — not necessarily at your garage or door.
- The driver’s responsibility ends at the curb. It’s your responsibility to unload the item from the truck unless other arrangements are made.
Important: Some extremely large or heavy products are not eligible for residential delivery at all, even with liftgate service. In these cases, you will need to collect your order from the nearest freight terminal or depot. We will notify you if this applies to your order before it ships.
What Is a Liftgate?
A liftgate is a hydraulic platform on the back of a truck that can lower freight from the truck bed to the ground. Not all freight trucks are equipped with one, and it's not guaranteed unless you request it in advance.
If your delivery location does not have a forklift or loading dock, we strongly recommend ordering liftgate service.
- Liftgate fees typically range from $25 to $125, depending on the product or carrier.
- If the truck arrives without a liftgate and you’re unable to unload, you may be charged re-delivery and full liftgate fees.
What Drivers Are (and Aren’t) Required to Do
- Drivers are not required to assist with unloading
- Some drivers may help at their discretion, but this is not guaranteed
- If the truck can safely pull into your driveway and turn around, they may accommodate — but it’s entirely up to the driver
- If your road or driveway is inaccessible to large trucks, you’ll need to meet the driver at the nearest accessible location
Important Notes
- Do not accept or use liftgate service unless you’ve ordered and paid for it — even if the driver says it’s okay. Carriers may charge you $100+ for unauthorized use.
- In some areas, liftgate delivery may be required by the freight company for safety or liability reasons
- If you’re unsure whether you need a liftgate, assume yes unless you have a dock or forklift on-site
Delivery Scheduling
- The carrier will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery appointment
- Typically, you’ll receive a 1–2 day notice and a 3–4 hour delivery window
Before You Sign
Inspect your shipment thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt:
- If there is any damage, note it clearly on the paperwork
- Take photos immediately
- Contact us within 24 hours
Summary
